CARES Act/Paycheck Protection Program

Signed into law on March 27, 2020, the CARES act includes the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) which was put in place to aid small business. The PPP provides small businesses with funds to pay payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent and utilities.

The Small Business Administration’s (SBA) disaster loans are the primary form of Federal assistance for the repair and rebuilding of non-farm, private sector disaster losses. The disaster loan program is the only form of SBA assistance not limited to small business.
